Who We Are

PUK Ventures investment team has over 25 years of experience in the venture capital industry. The team has a broad combination of skills and sector experience with expertise spanning venture capital, commercialisation, private equity, investment banking and business development.

	Christina McComb Head of PUK Ventures Christina McComb is head of PUK’s Ventures and Commercialisation activities. She joined PUK in May 2006. Christina is a former director of 3i and has extensive experience in venture capital investment and portfolio management. She is a non-executive director of several early stage businesses and sits on the investors’ advisory boards of Imperial Innovations Group and the London Technology Fund.
	Kaushik Chakravarti Investment Manager Kaushik Chakravarti joined PUK Ventures in July 2007 having spent over 7 years in management consulting and corporate development spanning M&A, strategy, operations and marketing across technology, media and telecom sectors in Europe.
	Gerry White Investment Director Gerry joined PUK in March 2009. He has worked in early stage technology venture capital since 1981, more recently managing a University seed corn fund (the £9m White Rose Fund), and a larger regionally based technology fund (the £23m Northeast Co Investment Fund).  He sits on the Investment Committee of Northstar Equity Investors.  His early career was in the computer industry with International Computers Ltd followed, in venture capital, by the National Enterprise Board, Top Technology, Aberdeen Murray Johnstone Private Equity, where he helped raise a £25m Technology Fund, and Northstar Equity Investors.  He has is BSc in Physics, Mathematics and Statistics, and an M. Comm in Economics and Finance.
